Minot Commission on Aging receives grant for Meals on Wheels delivery vehicle.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the Meals on Wheels program has grown significantly. With an average of 250 clients in Minot and over 500 meals being delivered each time they drive out of Minot, it is important to have a reliable delivery vehicle.
The Minot Area Community Foundation's COVID-19 relief fund was set up to assist non-profit organizations whose daily operations were effected by the pandemic. This grant, made possible by our Arnold I. Besserud Fund, enabled The Minot Commission on Aging to continue their local and rural Meals on Wheels service without interruption.
